Look at Granada: A Walk Around the Albaicín is much more than a book — it’s a heartfelt walk through the soul of Granada.

As a Granadina and artist, I created this project to share the essence of the Albaicín, one of the oldest and most charming districts in the city. Through delicate watercolour illustrations and short reflections, I invite you to join me on a path that starts at Plaza Nueva and winds its way up to the Mirador de San Nicolás.

This route is filled with small wonders: cobbled alleys, ancient aljibes, traditional cármenes, and corners full of light and memory. I’ve tried to capture not just the architecture and the views, but also the quiet emotion that this neighbourhood stirs in those of us who grew up in its shadow.

Whether you’ve walked these streets before or you’re dreaming of doing it someday, I hope this book helps you feel a little closer to Granada. It’s a project made with love, for lovers of art, history, and authentic places.
